In accordance with the Law on Holidays of Republic of Macedonia, non-working days in 2019 are:

• January 1 (Tuesday), New Year
• January 6 (Sunday), Christmas Eve, the day before Christmas
• January 7 (Monday), Christmas, the first day of Christmas according to the Orthodox calendar
• January 19 (Saturday), Epiphany
• April 21 (Sunday), Easter-Catholic
• April 26 (Friday), Great Friday, Friday before Easter
• April 29 (Monday), Easter, the second day of Easter according to the Orthodox calendar
• May 1 (Wednesday), Labor Day
• May 24 (Friday), “St. Cyril and Methodius ” (Day of Slavic Enlighteners)
• June 4 (Tuesday), the first day of Ramazan Bajram
• June 14 (Friday), Pentecost, Friday before Pentecost
• August 2 (Friday), Day of the Republic
• August 28 (Wednesday), Assumption of the Greater Virgin Mary
• September 8 (Sunday) Independence Day, September 9 (Monday) is a non-working day
• October 11 (Friday), National Uprising Day
• October 23 (Wednesday), Day of the Macedonian Revolutionary Struggle
• 1 November (Friday), the Feast of All Saints
• December 8 (Sunday), “St. Kliment Ohridski “, December 9 (Monday) is a non-working day
• December 25 (Wednesday), the first day of Christmas

NOTE: If public holidays and holidays of the Republic of Macedonia fall on Sunday, the next day is considered as a non-working day.
